Handbell inscribed 'Part of the Great Bell of the Tron Church, Edinburgh, destroyed by fire 16th December 1824'

The Tron Church in Edinburgh's High Street was begun in 1637, opened for worship in 1647, but not completed until 1663. The 1824 fire, which badly damaged the church, affected the south side of the High Street from the Tron to St Giles.
