Washing dollies were used for agitating the water during washing. The bell-shaped washing dolly (left) is made of zinc and is stamped 'THE 'SPEEDY WONDER' REGd DESIGN / R48363 / MADE IN ENGLAND'. The design was registered in 1886. The other dolly has a copper dome-shaped head and a wooden handle. It is inscribed 'The Victor'.
