This white glazed transfer-printed earthenware tea plate was made by the Britannia Pottery Company Ltd in Glasgow. It dates from the 1920s or 1930s.
The centre has a pattern of stylised leaves and flowers within a border of leaves and butterflies. The rim has a border of alternate leaf sprays and onion flowers.
The Britannia Pottery Company Ltd bought over the business of Arnold J Fleming's Brittannia Pottery in 1920.
