The cards show the royal arms and arms of the Scottish nobility who sat in Parliament. The card depicts the arms of four Scottish Viscounts - Cheney, Viscount of Newheven, Mackenzie, Viscount of Tarbit and Spenser, Viscount of Tevet. The 'queens' is this pack of cards show the arms of the Dukes of Hamilton, Gordon, Queensberry and Lennox. The 'kings' have the arms of Scotland, France, Ireland and England.
