TeapotThis silver teapot was made by Edinburgh silversmiths W. & P. Cunningham, in 1801-2. The teapot has a round body, a curved shaped rim and a dark wooden handle. During the 18th and 19th centuries, owning a silver teapot indicated status, wealth and taste. Tea was initially very expensive and in the 18th century teapots were small.
