Motor car engine and running gear, Austin 1100

This Austin 1100 motor car engine was built by B.M.C. in 1967 and is displayed without bodywork to show the engine transmission and subframes. It was designed by Alex Issigonis based on his design for the Mini introduced in 1959. It has been mounted on a base for display purposes.
