found at Threave Castle, Kirkcudbrightshire
This small lead spoon was found at Threave Castle in Kirkcudbrightshire - from the late 14th to the mid 15th century one of the main residences of the Black Douglases. It dates from the 16th century.
The spoon has a shallow bowl and a four-sided stem.
