MeasureThis pewter measure for a Scots gill dates from the first half of the 19th century. It is a Glasgow-type of measure, pear-shaped, with a domed lid. It has an 1869 excise mark and is inscribed 'Two glass' (equivalent to 1 gill Scots) on top of the lid. It has no maker's mark.
