These two bronze spearheads were found at Murrayfield in Edinburgh. The hoard was buried between 950 and 750 BC.
The leaf-shaped spearheads have pronounced midribs and lines outlining the edges of the blade. They each have a rivet hole through the socket for pegging the spearheads to the wooden shafts.
Warriors had a major social role in their society and displayed their status through fancy weapons.
