This banknote for three pounds Scots or five shillings sterling was issued by McKeith, Rintoul and Company. It is dated 14 July 1764. The banknote is printed on one side only.

McKeith Rintoul and Company was established in 1764. It was one of six banking companies based in Perth, each issuing its own notes. In 1766 the banks merged to become the Perth United Company.
