TeapotThis porcelain teapot was made around 1770 by William Littler at West Pans in East Lothian. The teapot has an inverted pear-shaped body over-glaze painted with Chinese style scenes, a S-shaped spout, a simple C-shaped handle and a domed lid. William Littler arrived in Scotland in the early 1760s after the failure of his Longton Hall factory in Staffordshire.
