Oil lamp
This oil lamp of tinned iron is from Elgin in Moray. It dates from the 19th century.
The lamp has a double reservoir with a small ribbon trefoil handle riveted to the top of the inner vessel. The other vessel, slightly lower, is attached by cross tube and has the wick at the top.
