Copper medal (obverse) commemorating the Glasgow ExhibitionThis is the obverse of a copper medal commemorating the Glasgow Exhibition of 1901. The medal was made by a J.W. Lauer. The obverse bears an engraving of the exhibition site and is inscribed 'GLASGOW EXHIBITION 1901'. The medal has a loop for suspension. Edinburgh hosted international exhibitions in 1886 and 1907, and Glasgow in 1888 and 1901.
