Medals (obverse) commemorating the coronation of Charles I
These are the obverses of two silver medals commemorating the Scottish coronation of Charles I in 1633.
The obverse has a crowned bust of the king. The Latin inscription translates as 'Charles, by the grace of God, King of Scots, England, France and Ireland'.
