Harness mountThis bronze mount was found at the site of the native hillfort at Traprain Law in East Lothian. It was used on a harness sometime during the first two centuries AD. The mount has a rectangular loop at the back. A range of harness equipment has been found at Traprain Law. The leather rarely survives, but the metal fittings and ornaments are often preserved.
