SpearheadThis bronze spearhead was found near the Eildon Hills in Roxburghshire. It dates from between 1150 and 950 BC. The leaf-shaped spearhead has a sharp midrib and loops at the base of the blade. The edges and mouth of the socket are damaged. Spears were used both for fighting and for hunting.
