Statue (Piece)This piece of a sandstone statue was found at the site of the Roman fort at Camelon in Stirlingshire. It probably represents a Romano-Celtic god. The object dates from between 80 and 165 AD. Only the torso survives of the statue. Roman religion was tolerant and flexible towards other beliefs.
